My Husband....

There are a few things that my husband does well, but there are other things that he's learning to do. I was making brownies tonight for my AVID kids for tomorrow and asked Michael to help me out. He's normally very nervous in the kitchen, but tonight he was a trooper and made the second batch for the kids. I was very proud of him in trying something new.

I know I haven't updated in a while...sorry about that. Things are well here. We've gotten into a normal routine living together again. We've been to Germany for a marriage retreat, or as the Army likes to call it marriage "training". It was held in Garmisch, Germany at the Army's resort. Absolutely gorgeous and breathtaking are the words I would use to describe this area of Germany. The mountains are just glorious.

Caryn Scheibner and Zack Hodgson are coming for a visit next week, and I'm really excited for them to come. We'll take them arounnd and show themt he sights.

I want to fill you in on our "move". Michael has not received his orders yet, but we're still going to Ft. Bragg. We're waiting to get the orders so that we can get moving on shipping our household goods and car, and I want to get our housing application in. We are looking forward to living in the states again and being closer to all of our family and friends.

I promise to update more often. I have some pictures from Germany that I need to post for you to see the area.

Until next time....

You have yourself a good hubby!! He even calms babies by singing in Italian- which is a huge bonus.
Enjoy your time together and we can't wait to see you again when you return to the states.
    XXOX from baby Lila.
