Time of Adjustment
It's been about a week since I've posted, so I thought it's about time to let you know how Michael's first week home has gone. It has been absolutely wonderful to have him here. Of course being apart for 15 months, there is a period of adjustment. The first few days we were kind of tip-toeing around each other. Not sure what to do. But we've fallen into a rhythm of sorts. He had a week of 1/2 days for re-integration. During that time, my friends Jenni, Abbey, and Sheila came from England for a brief visit.
Michael is doing well....though his allergies and asthma are driving him a bit crazy. He's still adjusting to being able to sleep for longer than 4 hours at a time and also the time change. It'll take a few weeks for him to get acclimated.
We are both looking forward to our trip stateside. Being able to spend time with family is what we're both looking forward to. That, and Starbucks of course!!! OK maybe that's just me! :)
I can't stop saying thank you for all your prayers and support. The deployment is over. Michael has already started our paperwork for our move back to the states. We're both excited for what the next adventure is. We know that God will lead us exactly where he wants us to be.
Until next time....
